We will have delays in our release, guys. TLC is going on a hiatus for a week, encode/editor is away from home for a few days, and I had assignments due everyday last week, and will be having a mid-term exam next week. We will still have progress but it will be very very slow.

From February 11 through February 14, we will be performing maintenance in our Sterling Virginia data center. From 11PM-5AM EST, there will be sparse intermittent network downtime. Outages will be kept under 30 minutes during this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

New Project(s): Da Capo If

Okay people. We all decided to do some fansubbing again next season and we will try not to lag too much behind like last time. For starter, we will do Da Capo If, which is released along with the Da Capo Box Set. This is a 2 episodes OVA and we got our hand on episode 1. Please look forward to the release. For now, here’s our progress report for you guys.

Downtime

Well due to some unforseen downtime, we are back online seems that the service for the databases on the server crashed and had to be rebooted.
If they are any problems with anything then contact one of as-fansub admins and hopefully should be resolved quickly.
EDIT by shindouhikaru: Actually, we’ve been having some issues with the server during the weekend. Suddenly it lost connectivity. Yes, several other sites being hosted on the server also went down. So I’ve tried to contact my friend the admin of the server, which just had an unfortunate event in his life, to take care of it.
At the moment things seems to be running well after the reboot. So, as MAD have said above, if you encounter any problems you can just contact one of the admins/OPs in #as-fansubs @ irc.rizon.net. — SH
New Forum and Tracker Postponed For Fall Series

First of all, if you’ve been expecting the new tracker and forum, please pardon us about it. As the topic said, both have been postponed due to some problems integrating them. I’ll have the problems ironed out in time for our fall releases.
In the mean time, we need theme skinners for the forum and tracker. So if any of you can do that, feel free to contact either me or shinkuryu. You’ll be skinning for phpmybittorrent with integrated phpBB3.
So, for those who can skin, contact us, otherwise please just wait until these features are ready.

Coming This Weekend: New Forums and Tracker

Yes, that’s right. We’re going to have a brand new forum that’s integrated with the tracker from the start. I know this particular forum is one of the most complicated forums ever created, but since we don’t have the man power to implement the solution for a tracker integrated forum, I decided that this would be the best at least for now.
We’d be able to go back to what we used to be back when we were just Anime-Share at any time. Plus, you’d be able to see your ratio of torrent if you’re a member.
I’m planning to do the upgrade sometime this weekend. So, if you find yourself can’t access the forum, please bear with me as I probably will be doing the upgrade at that time. It won’t be down for more than 6 hours I promise. However, you all need to recreate your account, since it will be a brand new forum.
So, keep checking this space for updates on this.

What happened to DCIISS Episode 13?

“It’s been 7 days since you guys last release episode 12. WHERE IS MY EPISODE 13!?!?!?!?”
Some of you probably are asking like that… maybe not. Anyway, one of our staff went on a vacation around 10 days ago… maybe. If I’m not mistaken, one of his relatives died so he has to go. As for me, I was waiting for his stuff of episode 12 and 13. He somehow managed to finish episode 12 and gave it to me around 3 days after he’s gone, and we managed to released episode 12 seven days ago.
Now the problem is episode 13. He came online on MSN and gave me his files, and after I checked, it needs a re-done. So I gave it back to him and told him to re-do it. It’s the final ending karaoke. Some of you probably will say, “just release it without any fx” and that’s what I’m going to do. I just fixed a normal k-timing since I can’t wait for him anymore. He never came online anymore since the last 3 days nor has he come back. It’s almost 2 weeks and I just want to finish DCIISS ASAP.
And now, we’re doing some final touch and episode 13 will be delivered to you guys soon. I know it won’t go past this weekend but I’m pretty sure it’ll be around this week.

Hey people, I’ve cleaned the forum a little so any discussion, discuss it there. I’ll check the forums everyday from now on to see if it’s actually active.
