    I think what zrdb means is that all the previous Sora Kake Girl HD’s were about 285MB each and this one is only 201MB…

    Basically what I mean even though it’s encoded at 5.0 profile fewer bits (smaller file size) means less detail-a series like this has a lot of action going on and can really benefit from a larger file size-what I usually do is d/l a much larger raw and use demuxed subs with it. I’ve d/l’d a few transport streams for this show and they look fantastic. A say-405 mb file encoded at 4.0 or 4.1 looks better than a 200 mb does-usually-I’m aware that a lot of varibles enter into the equation such cabac, etc. when encoding but all other factors being equal-more mb=better quality.

    I have a somewhat fast computer (Core 2 Duo 2.4GHz), so I can help in encoding/muxing.

    If I can do that, somebody needs to tell me what are your software and paremeter used so I can encode it correctly.

    I also have some experience in timing with Aegisub (although, I have a very limited Japanese - I can read some hiragana though (maybe half of them)).

    That’s all. If I can be of any help, tell me. On top of all, I’ll be jobless for a little while so I have time on my hand.

    I’ll join your IRC channel later.

    Instead of me whining about the size of your episodes I have some experiance doing encodes what with this core i7 machine I can encode episodes for you-can’t do too much with sub scripts except time them, though-I can’t seem to find transport streams for this show past ep.12. Let me know.

    There’s enough staff members alright, but I guess everyone’s just too lazy (or takes a whole month to do a kfx) and eventually the two project’s episodes just piled up like that. Oh, I said nothing about two projects.

    Shin, if you are trying to hide that project you are doing, I doubt you should do that since it is posted on Neko-subs’s main chan which is very obvious.
